The IRF, in a joint effort with the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) and local road authorities, conducted road safety training in Quito and Guayaquil, Ecuador, and La Paz, Bolivia.
This custom two-day training program offered in each city was an overview that included infrastructure and design best practices and challenges, vulnerable road users, and road safety audits, all designed to help Ecuador and Bolivia build and manage safer road networks.

Federal Republic of Nigeria President Goodluck Jonathan will deliver the opening address on the occasion of the 1st IRF Africa Regional Congress on June 4 in Abuja, Nigeria.
