Traffic Management Center Design & Operations
Oct 26 - Oct 30
| Istanbul, TurkiyeOverview
Background
A Traffic Management Center is the operational hub connecting a road agency’s safety, maintenance, incident-response, work-zone, traveler-information, and field teams. Its value depends on how well people, procedures, communications, technology, and partner agencies work together to keep roads safe, available, and reliable.
This practical course is designed for road-agency specialists responsible for day-to-day safety and maintenance operations. It focuses on how TMC and field personnel share information, dispatch resources, protect responders, manage lane closures, coordinate contractors and emergency services, restore service, and document results. System design is covered only where it helps practitioners define effective workflows and select the tools they need.
Course Highlights
- Four classroom days built around road-safety, maintenance, and field-response scenarios
- A practical TMC-to-field workflow map and operating-procedure toolkit
- A full Friday technical field experience with a road agency TMC and road operator
- IRF Certificate of Completion
Five-Day Format: Monday–Thursday classroom program | Friday full-day technical field experience.
