IRF Announces 2012 GRAA Winners

(Alexandria, Virginia) – The International Road Federation (IRF) Chairman and Mayor of Riyadh, H.E. Abdullah A. Al-Mogbel, has announced the winners of the 2012 Global Road Achievement Awards (GRAA) Competition. This year’s awards honor ten projects from countries around the world, each leading the way in innovation and excellence in its respective area of the road industry.
“For the past twelve years, our Awards program has constituted an industry reference for innovators across the globe”, noted Patrick Sankey, President & CEO of IRF. “In these times of persisting economic uncertainty, our sector has once more demonstrated that it is a source of cutting edge solutions that makes a difference in our communities”.
