IRF Global: Connecting the Dots to Assess the Impact of Innovation

Disruptive technology is creating an upheaval in transportation. Uncertainty abounds. Self-driving cars, connected vehicles and more, challenge the definition of transportation. Travelers have individualized information at their fingertips. A data avalanche is starting from connected and automated vehicles and location-based services.

Some of these disruptions have started; others will arrive within 10 to 20 years. In the meantime, many capital investments for transportation infrastructure last 50 years or more. Transportation planning and businesses continue business-as-usual when business is anything but usual.

Are you watching key trends and connecting the dots to assess the impacts to your agency and business?

Join a Shelley Row, P.E., CSP*, a 30-year transportation professional and former Director of the ITS Joint Program Office for USDOT, who will discuss the trends impacting transportation during the IRF Global R2T Road Conference, November 7-9, 2018 in Las Vegas, Nevada. More information:
