IRF Hires Corbin to Lead Social Media Efforts
Timothy Corbin joins the IRF communications team and will manage the International Road Federation LinkedIn site, where he will expand the IRF’s business-oriented social networking site to include the 17th IRF World Meeting & Exhibition (November 9-13, 2013 - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia). In his other duties, Corbin will oversee the production of IRF Notes, IRF Events and other electronic media for the organization.
IRF chairman Abdullah A. Al-Mogbel stated, “Having Mr. Corbin oversee the International Road Association LinkedIn site will further extend our existing network of industry professionals and bring further attention to the upcoming World Meeting & Exhibition in Riyadh later this year.”
“I am pleased and excited to have Tim join our team,” said IRF president and chief executive officer Patrick Sankey. “His skills will be put to immediate use and help the IRF provide a more engaging and captivating quality of communication services to our members and associates alike,” he added.
Mr. Corbin recently returned to the United States after working in China for more than three years. Tim has a not-for-profit trade association background with multiple computer hardware and software certifications and expertise in written and visual communication.
Tim graduated from the University of Maryland University College. He is married and resides in Catonsville, Maryland
