IRF Recognizes 2013 GRAA Winners at 17th IRF World Meeting

RIYADH — The International Road Federation Chairman and Mayor of Riyadh, H.E. Abdullah A. Al-Mogbel, along with IRF President and CEO Mr. C. Patrick Sankey, held a gala dinner and awards ceremony to honor the winners of the 2013 Global Road Achievement Awards Competition. This year’s awards honor nine projects from countries around the world, each leading the way in innovation and excellence in its respective area of the road industry.
“For the past thirteen years, our Awards program has constituted an industry reference for innovators across the globe”, noted Patrick Sankey, President & CEO of IRF. “In these times of persisting economic uncertainty, our sector has once more demonstrated it is a source of cutting edge solutions which makes a difference in our communities”.
