Kathy Mejasich joins IRF as Vice President, Marketing & Organizational Investment

The International Road Federation-Washington (IRF-Washington) has hired Kathy Mejasich as Vice President of Marketing and Organizational Investment. In this new role, Mejasich will spend the majority of her time with fund-raising for the International Road Educational Foundation as well as the corporate sponsorship program for the IRF. Additionally, she will lead the strategic expansion of marketing, communications, and programming initiatives for IREF.

"Kathy brings a wealth of valuable experience to IRF in more than one critical area," said Patrick Sankey, president & CEO, IRF-Washington. "At a time when IRF is aggressively growing its programs, services and benefits for all members, we could not ask for a better senior manager to come on-board to help with the effective and timely delivery of our ambitious 2010 agenda."

Prior to joining IRF-Washington, Mejasich was the vice president of corporate alliances for the United Service Organizations, Inc., where she led a very successful corporate fund-raising program. Mejasich’s prior experience includes fund raising and marketing management for Special Olympics, Inc. and more than eight years as a commissioned officer in the United States Air Force.
