The 1st IRF Asia Regional Congress & Exhibition was held in Bali, Indonesia from November 17-19, 2014, in conjunction with the Ministry of Public Works (Indonesia).

Under the theme “Building the Trans-Asian Highway”, this one-of-a-kind event provided a unique setting for sharing proven and innovative solutions for the region’s mobility needs, latest industry technologies and best practices from all over the world and how they can be replicated or modified to meet the region’s specific needs. The event featured a number of Plenary, Executive, Technical and Applied Knowledge Sessions.

This conference will offer experts the opportunity to analyze different facets of transportation supply and provision in Africa. It will provide the platform for stakeholders in the transportation sector to share best practices and formulate goal-driven policies that will improve transportation infrastructure on the continent. Attendees will have the opportunity to dialogue with government officials, developmental partners, contractors, consultants and other stakeholders who share a common interest in improving the lives of Africans through a sound, resilient and safe transportation system.
