Safe & Efficient Urban Mobility for Africa

The African Development Bank (AfDB) and the International Road Federation (IRF Global) are pleased to invite you to a new training program designed to improve safe & sustainable urban transport planning and project preparation for African cities.

This program consists of e-learning seminars and instructor-led workshops designed to equip your city and agency with the tools to conduct analysis of issues related to urban mobility, traffic management, and road safety and formulate action plans.

During this program you will learn how to:

  • Forecast the impacts of infrastructure developments and traffic management policies
  • Prepare robust traffic analyses and mitigation strategies recognizing the needs of diverse road users
  • Develop effective municipal road safety strategies
  • Prepare action plans focusing on the needs of vulnerable road users
