The IRF Global R2T Conference & Exhibition is the new international meeting point where leading industry innovators, researchers, and stakeholders acquire essential engineering & business insights, and help build tomorrow’s transportation infrastructure today.

The end of the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety in 2020 marks the start of new forms of international collaboration to avert the continuing and growing epidemic of road traffic injuries, responsible for 1,350,000 fatalities per year. Key to the success of further efforts is the acknowledgement that no level of death or serious injury is acceptable. Taking human fallibility and vulnerability into account must thus become paramount priorities for all actors of the road transport system.

The 3rd IRF Asia Regional Congress will focus on the future of road infrastructure, sustainability, Safety and how road agencies can take advantage of new advances in processes and technologies to deliver on their mandates.

The Safe Roads by Design™: Making Roads Safe for all Users certified training program is one of the most comprehensive road safety training programs in the world. Experts in the field will present best practices and state of the art technologies in Roadside Safety, Work Zone Safety, Vulnerable User Safety, Traffic Management and Road Safety Audits over a five-day period.

the 3rd IRF Africa Regional Congress pursues the objective of exploring a range of policies and mechanisms aimed at offering Ghana’s policy makers practical options to ensure its road development program supports the country’s sustainable development goals and socio-economic objectives.

This 9th IRF Caribbean Regional Congress will address the specific needs of the region by bringing together industry leaders, experts and decision-makers. The region has a rapidly expanding road infrastructure and the resources to invest in the new and improved technology.

Preventive risk assessment measures, such as a road safety audit or inspections, carried out on new and existing roads offer a well-charted and cost-effective pathway to reducing road traffic injury risk, because design standards alone cannot guarantee road safety in all conditions.

The IRF on-line Safe Roads by Design™: Making Roads Safe for all Users certified training program is one of the most comprehensive road safety training programs in the world. Experts in the field will present best practices and state of the art technologies in Roadside Safety, Work Zone Safety, Vulnerable User Safety, Traffic Management and Road Safety Audits over a four week period. The purpose of this training program is to help participants to understand what can be done to reduce the number of road crashes and the number of fatalities and serious injuries from road crashes that do occur.

This workshop, open to all participants of the 3rd Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety, is designed to strengthen the ability of road safety professionals in fast-motorizing countries to design effective speed & distracted driver enforcement programs. Presentations will be completed with demonstrations of enforcement practices and technologies.

The IRF Committee on Road Safety has released a new policy statement calling for road authorities accept the responsibility to set stringent safety requirements for contractors involved in maintenance works on roads open to traffic, and independently verify that these requirements are met.

The purpose of this seminar is to help road authorities understand what can be done to help them meet their Decade of Action commitment to reduce fatalities 50% by 2020.
